The Institute of Energy Materials and Industrial Catalysis is with 14 teachers, including 4 professors, 6 associate professors and 4 lecturers/assistant researchers, all of whom have doctoral degrees, more than 75% of whom have overseas study/visiting experience, and 6 provincial talents of Zhejiang Province and 5 municipal talents of Ningbo City selected for various types of work. In the past ten years, the institute has presided over more than 20 national projects, more than 30 provincial and ministerial projects, more than 40 municipal and enterprise-commissioned R & D projects, won 3 provincial awards, 3 municipal awards, published more than 500 academic papers in SCI journals, such as PNAS, Angew Chem, Anal Chem, etc., and was granted more than 150 nationally-authorized invention patents, and trained more than 200 postgraduates. The main research directions of the Institute of Energy Materials and Industrial Catalysis include: (1) new energy materials and technologies. Such as lithium \ sodium \ potassium ion battery materials and technology, and all kinds of new energy storage and conversion materials, fluorescent materials and luminescent materials; (2) industrial catalytic materials and technology. Including industrial wastewater enzyme catalytic materials, large bone porous catalytic materials, automobile exhaust purification. (3) Rapid detection technologies for organic pollutants in food and environment, such as food safety screeners using magnetic molecular imprinting technology, biochips, etc. After more than ten years of development, the Institute has formed research characteristics in the fields of energy materials and industrial catalysis, and achieved a large number of translatable scientific research results, and in the future is committed to developing into an academic highland with international influence and a research and development base for solving the key technologies in the industry.
